We also advise on cost-effective materials, deluxe vs standard versions, and components that impact budget, giving you full control before committing.
Step 2 – Design & File Verification
Professional Game Design & File Check
Novabond's engineers review artwork files, print layouts, CMYK color profiles, cutting paths, and 3D component designs (minis, custom dice, acrylic parts). We check material compatibility, packaging durability, and tooling feasibility. Digital proofs ensure alignment and prevent production issues before sampling.
Step 3 – Pre-Production Copy (PPC)
Pre-Production Copy for Board Game Testing
We create a near-final game prototype with real printing, lamination, finishing, and structural materials. PPC includes boxes, inserts, cards, boards, punchboards, rulebooks, and sample miniatures. Publishers can evaluate gameplay, print quality, alignment, and packaging, confirming adjustments before mass production.
Step 4 – Mass Production
Full-Scale Board Game Manufacturing
Once PPC is approved, mass production begins in Novabond's board game factory, covering printing, foiling, lamination, die-cutting, gluing, engraving, molding, and assembly. A Mass Production Copy (MPC) is reviewed to ensure all units meet quality standards and production expectations.
Step 5 – Assembly & Final Inspection
Quality-Controlled Game Assembly
Our assembly line packs and seals components. QC verifies component counts, print alignment, lamination, structural integrity, packaging, and random sampling. Spare components are provided post-shipment for replacements, supporting publishers and Kickstarter creators efficiently.
